Senior .NET Developer
Description:
This position is for a senior level developer of .NET languages, primarily ASP.NET and C#.NET. This is a work-from-home position which will start as part-time as-needed with the possibility to become full-time later. Candidates will be expected to have a thorough understanding of creating .NET applications without supervision, specifically desktop and web applications interfacing with databases such as SQL Server.
Job Function:
- Create .NET applications using C#.NET and ASP.NET to interface with databases.
- Configure servers and PCs to correctly run applications including webserver specific configurations.
- Create attractive objects paying close attention to layout, fonts, colors, etc.
- Communicate timelines with project managers and deliver products on-time.
- Communicate progress with team leaders who will integrate coding with the work of others.
Qualifications (necessary):
- 5 years or more experience with ASP.NET
- 5 years or more experience with C#.NET
- Strong experience creating applications which use stored procedures when interfacing with databases
- Ability to provide examples of previous work and a demonstration of technical knowledge
- Ability to communicate work with a team under the supervision of a team leader to complete large projects
- Ability to respond promptly to communications and finish tasks on-time
- A personal computer with Microsoft Windows Visual Studio, internet, phone, and any other resources necessary for development
Qualifications (bonus):
- 1 year or more experience with classic ASP
- 1 year or more experience with VB.NET
- Certifications: Anything to do with .NET languages
- Experience in Microsoft SQL Server
- Basic knowledge of SQL queries
- Knowledge of web technologies like PHP, integration with payment portals, code libraries, etc
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Access
Hours and Compensation:
- The position is expected to be hourly as needed, but part-time or full-time work may become a possibility
- Compensation will be $56-73 per hour depending on experience
